White Raven is a 1999 VNL 64T 610. She has triple air ride, Air ride chassis, air ride integral raised roof sleeper and new Bostrom air ride Ultra Leather Wide Ride Seats. Odometer mileage is 518 K. ECM mileage is 523 K.
White Raven is powered by a Detroit Series 60 ,12.7, 430/470 HP, and 1,550 torque. Transmission is a Super 10 Speed, .74 overdrive. Axle ratio is 3:70. Tires are 11 R 22.5s. 65 MPH cruise is at 1,475 RPM.
White Raven was govenored at 68 MPH and 1,800 RPM
all her life. Those parameters have been reprogrammed to gear limited top speed, and 2,100 max RPM.
Hitch plate is installed. It needs another coat of paint. I took these pictures on Saturday, June 26. It rained all day Sunday so, I didn't get a chance to do that, or apply a second coat of wax to the exterior, or take more pictures on Sunday.
WhiteRaven is being picked up by the buyer on Monday, June 28.
Fuel tanks are dual 150s. Wheelbase is 184".
Custom Volvo 5 piece carpeting has been laid down. White Raven also has has new air ride Bostrom Wide Ride Ultra Leather fully reclining seats installed. A new refrigerator, microwave, and shore power has been installed as well.
I decided to brave the rain today get a several interior shots, and a couple of engine pictures.
Sleeper vents, lighting, separate AC/heating controls for the sleeper, power plug in, and a second alarm clock are on the drivers side sleeper wall. The interior been thoroughly cleaned. Mattress is new.
Guess I didn't scrunch back far enough for this shot. Got a little belly and arm in the frame. :)
Powerplant......Of course she has a Jake Brake.
The alternator is new. The fuel water separator is heated. This is a one million mile engine. Fully serviced, lube, oil, all filters. Trans and Diff syn lube changed at 500K.
White Raven has been SOLD. I do own another identically speced 610 from the same fleet though. (I bought three of these, now two have been sold). All three of these Volvos were built in March of 99. April is model change month. If they had been built a month later, they would be 2000 models.
The price of the third Volvo, converted and finished as above, will be $36,900. Without the new seats and new aluminums on the rear, the price will be $34, 600.
It will be fully serviced, and everything on the unit will be in good working order. I will have the third one completed by the end of July. It has 508K miles, passed the, DOT, dyno, and warranty inspections with flying colors. It too comes with a 6 months/60,000 mile comprehensive engine warranty.
It has dual cloth air ride seats, front aluminums and steel rears. It has the double bunk, premium interior, cold AC, Tilt and telescoping wheel, cruise, AM FM Stereo Casette WB radio, back of sleeper lights, heated power mirrors, burlwood dash, and all the other standard stuff, just like White Raven.
